2005,Oct 24th , Hurricane Wilma comes in just NW of here with 105mph winds from the SW. Moving very quickly NE at 25mph heavy rainbands on the east quadrant of WIlma gusting to 110mph causes significant damage in eastern Broward county.Hollywood reports 30 structures with heavy damage affecting 120 units. Hallandale reports 4 structures with heavy damage. Unofficial report of 104mph at TV6 in miramar.
