1877 October 3rd from the south-southwest passes just west with 90 mph winds.
1880 August 31st 80 mph from the east-southeast just south.
1886 June 21st just east of here from the south, winds 95 mph several killed.
1886 June 30th, 85 mph just west from the southwest
1894 October 9th, 110 mph to the west from the west-southwest
1898 August 2nd 80 mph from the southeast just south
1899 August 1st a hurricane hits with 90 mph winds from the south-southeast killing 6, many boats lost since, a very small hurricane pressure 28.90 inHg.
